Truly lives up to it's recent award as "Best B&B in the Mid-Atlantic". I've been to many B&B's, but this one is exceptional in value, comfort and hospitality. I especially liked the historical ambiance and simplicity of hardwood floors, fireplaces, and furnishings. Yet, it was as comfortable as any. But the "Breakfast to Remember" was just that and Wayne, who is Professor Emeritus at James Madison University. "Stonewall Jackson Experience" is truly a very comfortable 5 Star B&B. We cater to all breakfast appetites, whether delicate or hearty. Our chef utilizes the finest Virginia staples such as Turner House Ham and locally custom produced sausages and apples. Our daily gourmet breakfast includes mouthwatering presentations such as Eggs Nova Scotia, Croissant French Toast, Brie Breakfast Soufflé, and Eggs Orleans. We serve these seasonally with the freshest fruit, a variety of teas and juices, and of course our famous and award winning fresh perked Stonewall Jackson coffee. Our Paradise Cafe serves our "Breakfast to Remember" either on the outside shaded deck patio or in our glassed, skylight sunny, and cozy back porch. Our kitchen is public; you can watch and chat with the Breakfast Chef while sipping coffee in our lounging breakfast bar.
We also have a light fare menu if you would so desire. The Stonewall Jackson Inn has successfully surpassed the standards set forth by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Examination. We got an A+, so to speak!

It is an easy walk from the Inn to The Historic District, The Old Confederate Cemetery, fine restaurants, museums, shops and theater venues. We are centrally located in respect to James Madison & Eastern Mennonite Universities, Interstate 81 and the City Center. The Inn is a local landmark, known by everyone, and is easy to find. We are a short drive to Shenandoah Valley attractions such as the Skyline Drive, two National Forests, and multiple Civil War sites.
Massanutten and Bryce Ski Resorts are an easy, scenic drive from our bed and breakfast. The Shenandoah Valley is among the top tourist destinations in the east because of its natural beauty, recreational facilities, historic sites, wineries, weather and theater, and its arts & crafts orientation.
Room rates include double occupancy. We have 4 rooms with multiple beds. More than two people in the same room are $50 each. Breakfast is included for guests, $15 will be charged for each additional non-guest breakfast. There is an extra bed housekeeping charge of $15 per night for use of both beds by two people.
