Taylor House, a gracious sixteen room Victorian home in Boston’s Jamaica Plain section, was built around 1853 for George W. Taylor, an international merchant. It is situated within the Monument Square Historic District, and lies in an area known as "Pondside", which contains some of Jamaica Plain’s finest suburban architecture. The structure is predominantly Italianate in style with a distinctive octagonal cupola that sits atop the main house. All rooms are spacious and offer private baths with queen size beds. Some Suites are available.
