On the southern shore of Big Bear Lake, Calif., the Thundercloud Resort offers visitors a vacation where clean air and winter or summer sports abound. Big Bear Lake is only one short block from the Resort, and the Village, with shopping, dining and special events, is only two blocks away. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski resorts are minutes away.
After a day in the great outdoors, guests will enjoy relaxing in the heated outdoor pool, spa tub and saunas; a barbeque is also available to all guests. In the mornings, complimentary continental breakfasts are served to get the resort's guests off to a good start.

All 64 guestrooms on two floors, comfortable with a rustic, feel at home decor, are accessible via exterior corridors, and come complete with queen beds or two double beds each, ceiling fans and cable televisions; some rooms have gas fireplaces.
