Location. Overlooking the magnificent Columbia River Gorge, Skamania Lodge is 45 miles from Portland City Center and 41 miles from Portland Airport. Calmed by cascading waterfalls and cradled in the forests and mountains that surround Stevenson, Wash., Skamania Lodge offers an idyllic setting for couples on romantic getaways or golfers who seek challenging courses in pristine surroundings.
Hotel Features. This rustic mountain resort is home to an 18 hole, par 70 golf course that makes optimal use of the natural rivers, ponds and towering Douglas firs. Outdoor sports devotees appreciate fishing the rushing rivers, mastering the tennis courts and exploring more than four miles of hiking trails. Reflecting the Grand Lodge Style architecture, the Skamania Lodge features Native American inspired rugs and original stone rubbings. The comfortable mission style wood furnishings and vibrant fireplace in the lobby create an intimate setting.
