Our 1887 three-story brick house in Independence Missouri is the ultimate Victorian Experience! Our guests call this a museum you can sleep in!! You will be transported back in time to the true romance of the Victorian era by the hundreds of details, which have been added to the basic setting of antique walnut furniture, rugs and period lighting! The brick edged flower beds blaze with color from spring to fall. The side porch shelters the house plants in summer and provides a quiet place for watching the world go by. Benches, a hammock, and swing provide peaceful spots to reflect on life and into the Victorian gazing balls or listen to the bubbling fountain. The owners have created this atmosphere for their own pleasure and enjoyment. Now you can share the surroundings of this private home! Guests may request a tour of the house or a ride in a 1920`s car (time and weather permitting).
