great places to stay in Clayton Kansas
About LandMark Inn
LandMark Inn, Oberlin, Kansas - Experience the Victorian West in an ornately restored 1886 Bank in a quiet historic small town with brick streets and vintage street lights. Seven rooms furnished with antique. Walk to antique stores and Indian museum.
About The Homestead
The Homestead House offers you a true taste of rural America along with the continuing heritage and love of the land and adventure that brought our family west. This is a fourth generation settlers family who lived in their sod house until this house, The Homestead House, was completed in 1904. Neighbors from miles around used to come to look at the "frame house". We continue to ranch and farm to the present day and received the "Century Farm Award" in 1994 because of the unbroken chain of family living and working the ground. We offer you fresh, home-raised, homemade breads, pastries, and mouth watering meals like your grandparents used to have. We offer you the peace and quiet of the country along with the opportunity to join in whatever activity is happening on the farm/ranch at the time. Come and see for yourself and if you want to learn how to make breads to canning fruits, vegetables and making jellies and jams you will have the opportunity. Hope to see you soon!!!
